My friend, the critic Katherine Powers, has spotted an interesting theme in books flowing across her desk for review - paranoia. Coming this fall: John Demos's "The Enemy Within: 2,000 Years of Witch-hunting in the Western World." Demos is a Bancroft award-winning historian emeritus at the World's Second Greatest University (Yale), who once wrote a Wall Street Journal commentary suggesting that it might be time to pardon America's 17th-century witches. So soon?
Then arrives "Real Enemies: Conspiracy Theories and American Democracy, World War I to 9/11," by University of California history professor Kathryn Olmsted. Hot on its heels comes "Paranoia: The 21st Century Fear," by brothers Daniel and Jason Freeman. The Freemans published a self-help book in Britain called "Overcoming Paranoid & Suspicious Thoughts: A Self-Help Guide Using Cognitive Behavioral Techniques."
As part of their research, the Freemans circulated a "Paranoid Thoughts Questionnaire" to 1,200 people, inquiring how often they felt that "People are laughing at me," or if they "suspect that someone has it in for me." That's easy! All the time. They concluded that "about a third of the population are regularly bothered by suspicious or paranoid thoughts." ...
... What are the great conspiracy theories of our time? Sept. 11 spawned a host of paranoid illusions, numerous enough to fill up the next edition of the psychiatrists' diagnostic manual. I see that the lunatic website 911truth.org, formerly ground zero for the most noxious "George Bush blew up the World Trade Center" myths, has moved on to new concerns. Among other things, they worry that the Bush administration plans to attack Iran before leaving office. I do, to. ...

THE 4TH OF JULY
Have you ever wondered what happened to the 56 men who signed the Declaration of Independence?
Five signers were captured by the British as traitors, and tortured before they died.
Twelve had their homes ransacked and burned.
Two lost their sons serving in the Revolutionary Army; another had two sons captured.
Nine of the 56 fought and died from wounds or hardships of the Revolutionary War.
They signed and they pledged their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor.
What kind of men were they?
Twenty-four were lawyers and jurists. Eleven were merchants, nine were farmers and large plantation owners; men of means, well educated, but they signed the Declaration of Independence knowing full well that the penalty would be death if they were captured.
Carter Braxton of Virginia, a wealthy planter and trader, saw his ships swept from the seas by the British Navy. He sold his home and properties to pay his debts, and died in rags.
Thomas McKeam was so hounded by the British that he was forced to move his family almost constantly.
He served in the Congress without pay, and his family was kept in hiding. His possessions were taken from him, and poverty was his reward.
Vandals or soldiers looted the properties of Dillery, Hall, Clymer, Walton, Gwinnett, Heyward, Ruttledge, and Middleton.
At the battle of Yorktown , Thomas Nelson, Jr., noted that the British General Cornwallis had taken over the Nelson home for his headquarters. He quietly urged General George Washington to open fire. The home was destroyed, and Nelson died bankrupt.
Francis Lewis had his home and properties destroyed. The enemy jailed his wife, and she died within a few months.
John Hart was driven from his wife's bedside as she was dying. Their 13 children fled for their lives. His fields and his gristmill were laid to waste. For more than a year he lived in forests and caves, returning home to find his wife dead and his children vanished. Some of us take these liberties so much for granted, but we shouldn't.
So, take a few minutes while enjoying your 4th of July holiday and
silently thank these patriots. It's not much to ask for the price they paid.

Hello Alex. I trust you will be able to put a face to my name by recollecting the days when our boys played on the same Newton soccer team. However, I am writing to you today in my capacity as the Secretary for the Boston 911 Truth Committee (www.Boston911Truth.Org ) . In particular, I would like to respond to your 7/1/08 Boston Globe article titled "The Return of the Black Helicopters".
I read with concern your characterization of one of our affiliated groups, 911Truth.Org, as "the lunatic website". What exactly do you mean by this term? Also I am not aware of an article published on that website which states categorically that "George Bush blew up the World Trade Center". If you could reference that particular article for me I would be very grateful.
As you may be aware, numerous significant questions remain unanswered in the aftermath of 9/11/01. These questions are being asked by family members of those who were murdered in the attacks as well as by hundreds of credentialed research scientists, structural engineers, architects, military officers and others. Since the events of that day were used for the justification of the attacks upon Iraq and Afghanistan and will in turn be used to legitimize the attack upon Iran, which is implicitly threatened now, don't we owe it to those who have lost their lives so far and those who may soon sacrifice their lives in these wars to address these unanswered questions?
You make reference to paranoid thinking throughout your article. As a mental health professional it is my understanding that characteristics of "paranoid thinking" include a tendency to refuse reasoned, respectful debate in preference for name calling, character assassination and the wholesale dismissal of the concerns of people with whom the paranoid thinker does not agree. While I know that this is not your personal style, or the real attitude of your heart, I fear the causal reader of "The Return of the Black Helicopters" could easily conclude otherwise.
You will note below, an article I wrote to explain my own reluctant transformation from a believer of the official 9/11/01 myth into a dedicated 911 Truth Activist. Would you be willing to invest significant time to review some or all of the materials linked there? My article is then followed by a 911 Truth Resource Page. This page is something we send out to everyone who inquires about the concerns of our organization. If you you find in your exploration of these materials evidence of "lunatic" accusations or genuinely paranoid thinking, I will be extremely appreciative of your specific feedback and will follow up with removing those materials from our resource guide.

How I Became A 9/11/01 "Conspiracy Nutcase"
I am writing this article in my capacity as the secretary for the Boston 911 Truth Committee. However, I am also writing with my professional role as a licensed psychotherapist in mind. In that latter role I have served as an in-patient family therapist for drug addicted youth with the Phoenix House Foundation, an outpatient therapist for patients transitioning back into our community from nearby Bournewood Psychiatric Hospital and, for the past 15 years, as a private practice clinician at my office in Newton Massachusetts. It is both from this professional perspective, and from the point of view of being a belated "convert" to the 911 Truth Movement as well, that I have contemplated, with interest and concern, the tendency of many media spokespeople to characterize 911 Truth Activists as "Conspiracy Nutcases" who merely seek to confirm their preconceived paranoid conclusions.
Not long after 9/11/01 one of my therapy clients came to me nearly in tears saying that she had discovered the attacks of that day were, in her words, "an inside job". Naturally, I assumed my client was suffering from delusional paranoid thinking. I attempted to calm her down and to reassure her that her fears couldn't possibly be true. By 9/11/03, however, I was apologizing to this client for my ill informed and presumptuous response to her concerns. And by 9/11/04, I was actively participating in the development of the 911 Truth Movement.
As a family therapist I have seen first-hand how powerful is the tendency toward denial when a client must come to terms with the reality that an emotionally or physically abusive parent has betrayed their trust through verbal abuse or physical assault. It hurts, and it is terrifying to confront such betrayal. But the walk along the winding path of emotional healing, which can potentially lead to forgiveness and reconciliation, can not begin until that pain is faced and the attendant anger, fear and sadness fully felt.
Our highest government servants are to all of us Americans, in an unconscious fashion, much like national "parent figures". We look to them to keep us safe and provide for our collective needs, similar to the way a child looks to her or his parents to provide safety and support. So from a psychotherapy perspective, it is not at all surprising that any American would find it difficult to face and confront the possibility of acts of national betrayal and murderous treason by our leaders. For me, the evolving realization that we may have been betrayed by those entrusted with responsibility for our protection was a slow and frightening process - the exact opposite of a leap to preconceived ideas I yearned to prove true.
Unlike the eager conspiracy theorists imagined by some in the press, my slowly evolving realizations - that the formal 911 Commission Report was essentially false at its worst and deliberately misleading at its best - did not at all confirm the world view I wished to uphold. Nonetheless, as the damning evidence of lies and distortions became increasingly clear and the scientific evidence mounted, I was eventually forced to confront the dark truth behind the attacks of that day. I believe this process of confronting a painful truth of national betrayal on 9/11/01- a truth that I initially denied - was for me very similar to the process my psychotherapy clients have gone through when addressing childhood wounds. I also believe our collective natural yearning to entrust our safety to our political leaders, and our understandable fear of being in opposition to these powerful parent figures, is a significant factor, though an essentially unconscious one, in our reluctance to confront our leaders and demand the Truth.
The truly paranoid mind tends to label and caricature people rather then enter into dialog and debate. It is interesting to note, then, the way in which writers in the popular press go about discounting the concerns of the 911 Truth Movement. I have observed that these writers generally "debunk" the 911 Truth Movement as a whole by attacking the more peripheral issues raised by the movement while avoiding dialog on - or the offering of concrete evidence as rebuttal to - the central issues raised by the movement's researchers. For example, Popular Mechanics published an article which attempts to debunk issues raised by the 911 Truth Movement. However, 911 Truth researchers challenge both the logic and veracity of many elements of both this Popular Mechanics article and the findings of the 9/11 Commission Report as well.

But sadly this effort at dialogue and debate offered in good faith by the 911 Truth Movement is generally met with an unresponsive silence from the 911 Truth "debunkers". So who is it in this attempt to explore the truth of 9/11/01 that is functioning in an irrational or paranoid way?
Authentic dialog has at least two essential components. The first is making an effort to find common ground. Where do we have some degree of agreement that can serve as a jumping off point for exploring our points of disagreement? With this in mind, a careful review of Dr Steven Jones' paper, "Fourteen Points of Agreement with Official Government Reports on the World Trade Center Destruction" is in order. This paper was recently published in the respected "Open Civil Engineering Journal" and can be downloaded at http://www.bentham-open.org/pages/content.php?TOCIEJ/2008/00000002/00000001/35TOCIEJ.SGM . A second element of authentic dialog is a willingness to respond to reasonable questions raised by individuals who have an obvious personal stake in finding answers to their questions. With this in mind, I would encourage the reader to link to a list of questions raised by family members of those who were murdered on 9/11/01 via "The Family Steering Committee for the 9/11 Commission" at http://www.911independentcommission.org/questions.html . I do understand that there is a great deal of both well intended misinformation and deliberate disinformation available on the internet with regards to the events of 9/11/01. I believe, however, that anyone wishing to more fully understand these events, and the concerns of the 911 Truth Movement that have arisen from these events, will find the resources listed below to be highly reliable. I invite those who are drawn to support the formal US government supported interpretation of the events 9/11/01 to explore these resources and to enter into dialogue about your perspective with me and others in the 911 Truth Movement.

Similar to you and your friend, Katherine Powers, a friend of mine spotted your article, "The return of the black helicopters," with the theme that is so prevalent in the mainstream -- denial. Denial as a response to paranoia is not only sad, but dangerous. What do I mean by that?
Let me first clarify things by stating that my primary concern is your characterization of the website, 911Truth.org, as being "lunatic." Why do you say that? You never really explained.

Is there a river of paranoia running through the heart of this country? Absolutely. But you're diagnosis of its primary cause is misplaced. The paranoid illusions that were spawned on and after Sept. 11, 2001 lead directly to the White House, the Pentagon and their spin-masters, and not the the authors, filmmakers and webmasters who have since observed, contemplated and commented on the phenomena. The "Axis of Evil," the alleged "War on Terror," and the ridiculous notion that people living in the Middle East, the Near East, etc. hate and want to kill us because we have a democratic government based on liberty and freedom are all myths generated, and dare I say "fabricated," by a delusional, out-of-control executive with the support of an impotent, ill-informed legislature and a lethargic press, all leading to pre-emptive war, the erosion of personal liberties and the gross manipulation of law to justify torture. And most people know it and are tired of it.
What was "lunacy" was the Bush administration's 14-month opposition and subsequent stonewalling of any investigation into 9/11, against the consensus of the public at-large and the victim families, in particular. Equally lunatic was the fabrication and manipulation of intelligence to justify the attack, invasion and occupation of Iraq. And now, the suggestion of a pre-emptive attack on Iran is proving to be the height of lunacy, so much so that the military, itself, is calling the president and vice president to task.
We SHOULD be overly scared, aka paranoid.
Regarding the claims on websites like 9/11truth.org, there are scores of high-ranking military and intelligence professionals who dare to challenge the veracity of the conspiracy theory put forth by the Bush administration and its Commission concerning 9/11, along side millions of Americans who have doubts about what they've been told. I'm one of them and I take extreme exception to being called a lunatic for questioning the 9/11 story. Not too long ago, someone claiming that child abuse was rampant among the clergy of the Roman Catholic Church could have easily been labeled "paranoid" or a "lunatic." Certainly, the perpetrators of those crimes and their superiors denied their culpability when first confronted. I guess the Globe writers who eventually won a Pulitzer for uncovering the priest sex abuse scandalwere lunatics, as well -- until, that is, they proved themselves to beright.
Haven't we learned that what might be morally inconceivable is not necessarily unlikely? These issues are far too important to resort to name-calling, stereotyping and slander. Innocent people are dying in war --on both sides -- due to the paranoia imposed on us by our government; paranoia which does, in my view, accurately equate to terrorizing us into submission to their ambitions for war.
So whether it's the story of 9/11, the justification for war and torture, or the loss of our freedoms, on the 4th of July, at least, please afford us the dignity to exercise our right to question the behavior of the people running our government without publicly trying to slander us.

The New England 9/11 Symposium: Recap
The New England 9/11 Symposium, held Saturday (5/17/08) in Keene, NH, was a tremendous success. We had a great turn out and received local and, of course, independent media coverage.
First, the morning began at 9:45 a.m. with Bob McIlvaine's heartfelt speech, which is a reminder that, as Jon Gold put it, what we feel is nothing compared to what family members like McIlvaine feel. The part of his remarks that stuck out to me the most was when McIlvaine detailed his experiences researching 9/11 on his own and described his utter disgust with the 9/11 Commission. While speaking about the Commission he mentioned the day that Condoleeza Rice testified about the August 6th, 2001 PDB. To him it was obvious that Rice was spinning, lying, and not directly answering any questions posed to her by the Commissioners, who's questions were light as it was. He talked of how outraged he was when, after Rice testified, family members were rushing to shake her hand. The deception was so blatant how could the others not see it? I, as well as many others, believe that Bob is very strong and very brave.
Next up was acclaimed Canadian media critic and author, Barrie Zwicker. Zwicker offered his excellent take on the media's unwillingness to cover this issue. I had seen his presentation before in 2006 but it was watching Zwicker take the editor of The Keene Sentinel (a local, but widely circulated paper in New Hampshire) to task in a meeting the day before the conference for outright refusing to cover many 9/11 related events right in their own backyard, that made his presentation really hit home this time around.
Following Zwicker was investigative journalist, author (The Big Wedding), and publisher (Fortunate Son, American Assassination: the Strange Death of Senator Paul Wellstone), Sander Hicks. Hicks gave a knockout presentation on the death of Dr. David Graham, the first 9/11 researcher to be assassinated. Graham met two of the alleged hijackers in Shrevesport, LA prior to 9/11 and even warned the FBI that he suspected that they were planning acts of terrorism within the United States. The FBI was completely uninterested in his evidence and turned him away. After 9/11, Graham released his information which he appropriately titled, the "9/11 Graham Report." In 2004, shortly after releasing his findings, Graham was poisoned. Sander's take on the situation was both informative and frightening. I would point those who say, "well if what you people (the 9/11 Truth Movement) say is true...why are you people still alive?" to information regarding the death of Dr. David Graham.
At 12:30, activist and researcher Jon Gold took to the stage and gave an excellent speech detailing the suspicious behavior of the Bush Administration in regard to the inquires that we've had into 9/11. I loved the way he wrapped it up by explaining that in the "Post-9/11 World" we are encouraged to report suspicious activity because you never know where a terrorist may be lurking. "Does anyone have a cell phone?" he asked. " I'd like to report some suspicious activity. I think there may be terrorists in the white house." That brought the house down.
After lunch, State Department Whistleblower J. Michael Springmann shared his information with the crowd. Springmann joined the state department in 1986. As chief of the Non-Immigrant Visa Section at the CIA controlled U.S. Consulate in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia from 1987-1989 he was forced by his superiors to issue visas to unqualified applicants and people he suspect were involved with terrorist activities. He later discovered that the people he was forced to issue visas for were being sent to the United States to be trained to fight and then were sent to Afghanistan to fight the Russians. His presentation was explosive because it completely blows open the CIA's role in the creation of what later became Al Qaeda. Defenders of the official account will often deny that the CIA had any direct role in creating Al Qaeda; however, Springmann's information proves otherwise.
9/11 family member Michele Little gave her presentation next. Little lost her brother, FDNY Firefighter David M. Weiss, at the World Trade Center on 9/11. Little described the need for a new investigation into 9/11, the need to do what we can to help the 9/11 First Responders, and showed footage captured by Penny Little on 9/11/2007. The footage showed city workers pull up in a truck only an hour or so after the family members put flowers into the reflecting pool, step into the reflecting pool, and heave all the flowers into the back of a dump truck. The footage was disheartening and made me angry. I think that Little's presentation was perhaps one of the most moving I have ever seen. Sad, yes, but very empowering.
Following Michele was perhaps the most interesting speaker of the entire event, investigative journalist and author Daniel Hopsicker. Hopsicker is the author of Barry & 'The Boys': The CIA, Welcome to Terrorland: Mohamed Atta and the 9/11 Cover Up in Florida, the Mob, & America's Secret History and filmmaker of the documentary "Mohamed Atta & the Venice Flying Circus." Hopsicker's research into the real identity of Mohamed Atta was the primary topic of his presentation. Essentially, Hopsicker discovered that the activities of Mohamed Atta, his associates, and other terrorist pilots in Venice, Florida, prior to 9/11 have been the subject of a massive cover up by the FBI. He also spoke of the fact that the owners of the flight schools where Atta and the other future hijackers trained were involved in drug trafficking and had ties to the CIA. Lastly, Hopsicker showed a video interview with Amanda Keller, Mohamed Atta's American stripper girlfriend. She described Atta as a very westernized man who loved alcohol, women, and cocaine. Her description of Atta certainly did not fit the mold of a radical terrorist preparing for a suicide mission. Many people who research 9/11 are what I call "gatherers," in that they gather the research of others and talk about that. Not that there's anything wrong with this approach, but it's people like Daniel Hopsicker and Sander Hicks who have done some really important investigative reporting and have proven themselves time and time again to be invaluable to our efforts.
Lastly, Korey Rowe filled in for Jason Bermas and showed the first 15 minutes from their upcoming film, "Fabled Enemies." The movie looks at a lot of evidence pertaining to the involvement of foreign governments (i.e., Israel, Pakistan, etc.), with which we are friendly, in 9/11. I think that the film, when completed, will be an excellent addition to their already stellar catalogue of films.
The symposium wrapped up with a panel discussion featuring all of our speakers as well as Kyle Hence, the founder of 9/11 Citizens Watch, an advocacy group that monitored the activities of the 9/11 Commission. Audience members were able to ask their questions and the discussion developed into quite an informative session. The goal was to hold an stimulating and informative symposium on aspects of the 9/11 cover up that are not discussed as often as they should be and I think that the speakers, organizers, and audience members all share my sentiments when I say that the symposium was a tremendous success.

Richard Gage invites you to attend an important evening forum at MIT on the subject of the Collapse of the 3 World Trade Center high-rises on 9/11.
I am the founder of the organization Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth which is a fast-growing collaboration of more than 350 architectural and engineering professionals. The last few years have witnessed the emergence of mounting scientific evidence that the collapses of the Twin Towers and WTC Building 7 were not adequately 
explained by the official theories outlined in the 2002 FEMA and 2005 NIST reports. The Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth call for a new, fully funded unimpeachable Congressional investigation with subpoena power.

What the Evidence Shows
Sounds of explosions coming from each of the WTC Twin Towers were heard well before the collapses began. These were reported by over 118 first responders in the FDNY recorded “oral histories” (the release of which was resisted by the City of NY until forced by a New York Times FOIA filing). Numerous accounts of “flashes of light” which commonly accompany the detonation of demolition charges were also reported. Video footage reveals the striking symmetry, explosiveness and rapidity of the Towers’ destruction. This differed from the more classic controlled demolition of WTC 7 in its extreme explosiveness.
Each rubble site contained tons of molten metal “flowing like lava” in the basements – as observed by Leslie Robertson, WTC structural engineer, and numerous other first responders. The temperatures of these flows were far in excess of anything possible from a jet fuel fire or from the burning contents of the buildings. Scientists have determined conclusively that thermate – a high-tech incendiary - was used. Chemical traces of thermate were found in the steel and dust. Each “collapse” exhibited thick billowing pyroclastic dust clouds that rapidly expanded to over ten times the volume of the buildings. Each also showed squibs (explosive ejections of pulverized building materials) easily observed in many of the videos. The twin towers were explained to have “pancaked” down, however there was no stack of floors found at the bottom – nearly everything was blown outside the footprint of the towers in a symmetrical pattern extending 1,200 feet in diameter around each building – and 90,000 tons of concrete , metal decking and floor trusses were completely missing from the debris field.
Most damaging to the official story, WTC building 7 was a 47-story high-rise not hit by an airplane and yet became the 3rd modern steel-framed skyscraper to collapse symmetrically at near free-fall speed on 9/11 – in the exact manner of a controlled demolition with explosives. It collapsed into a neat, compact pile, exhibiting ALL the classic features of controlled demolition:
- Rapid onset of “collapse”
- Sounds of explosions at ground floor – seconds prior to collapse initiation
- Symmetrical “collapse” – through the path of greatest resistance – at near free-fall speed (i.e. the core columns offered no resistance)
- “Collapses” into its own footprint – with the steel skeleton broken up for shipment
- Massive volume of expanding pyroclastic dust clouds
- Tons of molten metal found in basement by demolition workers
- Chemical signature of thermate (a high-tech incendiary) found in slag and dust samples
- Rapid oxidation and intergranular melting found (by FEMA) in the structural steel samples
- Expert corroboration from controlled demolition professionals
- Foreknowledge of “collapse” by First Responders, media, NYPD, FDNY, etc.

Congratulations on a great job at the Ed Markey forum yesterday in Framingham. Two newspaper articles in his district are linked below. Notice the slick response Markey gave regarding the question of controlled demolition: "It's incontrovertibly true (that) the terrorist-piloted planes caused the attacks".
Markey cleverly swapped the word "collapses" with "attacks." Few of his constituents were fooled. Everyone heard the question. Everyone knew his answer intentionally skirted it.
It's now been documented that Markey was introduced to the science of 9-11 on 2/3/08, and that he also pledged to look further into it.
Congressman Ed Markey can no longer credibly play dumb on the issue of 9-11.

Creating Public Myth: The 9/11 Commission Report
Tuesday, July 10, 7:00 PM - Portsmouth Public Library (Levenson Room)
Dr. Thomas Hansen, a retired mathematics education researcher, author, and teacher, now living in Charlottesville, Virginia, will speak in Portsmouth on Tuesday, July 10, at 7 pm, about some of the unanswered questions of the events of 9/11.
The title of his talk is "Creating Public Myth: The 9/11 Commission Report." Dr. Hansen has researched the events of 9/11 and has had a conversation with Philip Zelikow, the Executive Director of the 9/11 Commission. The talk, which is free and open to the public, will take place in the Levensen Room of the Portsmouth Public Library, 175 Parrott Ave. in Portsmouth.
During Dr. Hansen's conversation with Dr. Philip Zelikow, Dr. Zelikow told him that he and his staff made a conscious decision not to dignify "outrageous conspiracy theories" about 9/11 by investigating them or reporting on them. In published academic articles, Philip Zelikow describes his own area of academic expertise as "creating public myth."
According to Dr. Hansen, the 9/11 Commission Report has become a "public myth" itself, which has left out or distorted important facts that do not fit the official story of what happened on 9/11.
Along with the presentation and discussion about his research into 9/11, Dr. Hansen will be singing several original songs about 9/11. According to Dr. Hansen, "It is time to get beyond simply labeling people as 'conspiracy theorists,' and instead to tell the truth about 9/11."
Dr. Hansen cites an October 2006 CBS/New York Times poll showing that fewer than 20% of Americans believe they have been given the full truth about 9/11. They believe that the US government is either hiding something or mostly lying about what they knew prior to 9/11/2001 about possible terrorist attacks against the United States.

The debates will be in the Sullivan Ice Arena, at the back of the campus
(building number 13 on the map). People with tickets to get into the debate
will need to show ID. Signs, buttons, t-shirts with campaign slogans, cell-phones,

Daily, William Rodriguez met with co-workers for breakfast at the Windows on the World Restaurant on the 106th floor of World Trade Center Tower #1. Nearly two hundred people, most of William's friends, were in the restaurant on the morning of September 11. None of them survived.
For nearly twenty years, the Puerto Rican-born, New Jersey resident was a custodian in-charge of the three stairwells — A, B and C — in the North Tower. In possession of the master key that opened all of the stairwell doors at each floor in the 110 story building, William Rodriguez personally saved the lives of 15 people that day and aided NYC firefighters in saving hundreds of others. Having told his chilling account to thousands of people across the globe, he comes to Boston sharing his stories of heroic and selfless first responders, his personal witness to explosions in the sub-basements “before” the plane hit the north tower and during the rescue efforts, and tales of strange noises coming from the vacant and restricted 34th floor.

A town crier will read the charges and we will declare our Citizens Impeachment! We will also be disseminating information and providing people a chance to sign petitions for the State House and Federal House!

Boston 9/11 Truth Endorses The March 24th New England Regional Anti-War Demonstration
Boston 9/11 Truth endorses the March 24th Stop the Wars Coalition, New England Regional Demonstration on the 4th anniversary of the invasion of Iraq.
Since 9/11 served as a convenient pretext to launch the "war on terror", invade Afghanistan, Iraq and now potentially Iran, and since we have consistently been lied to and have had our civil liberties eviscerated by the Patriot Acts and our objections to these imperial wars are ignored.
And since the lack of verifiable 9/11 Truth is the foundation for the wars that our young people have been sent to fight and that have already led to at least 3,164 U.S. military casualties and 57,482 civilian casualties.
We therefore call for our troops to come home now! End the war in Iraq and open a new and independent Investigation into the events of 9.11.2001.
9/11 activist from New England and beyond are invited to join us.

Synthetic Terror: Made in USA, and George
Bush: The
Unauthorized Biography, will be making a special presentation
on Saturday, January 20 at 1:00 p.m. at the Friends Meeting House,
141 Central Ave., Dover, New Hampshire. In an effort to increase the visibility
of 9/11 Truth issues during the upcoming presidential race, activists and
guests will be introduced to the concept of creating "Truth Squads," designed
to be a challenging presence to presidential candidates as they campaign
in the historically significant New Hampshire primary.
Tarpley's presentation will examine the political realignment currently taking
place in America and whether this transition will lead to a more progressive
or a more fascist and draconian society. In addition to examining evidence of
9/11 crimes, Tarpley will also address the collapse of the dollar, the dangers
of another "terrorist" attack and the impending collapse of US forces
in Iraq.
Webster Griffin Tarpley is an incisive critic of Anglo-American hegemony. As an activist historian he is best known for his book George Bush: The Unauthorized Biography (1992), a masterpiece of research which is still must reading, and 911 Synthetic Terror: Made in the USA, Serving the Cataclysm, and Against Oligarchy. He is host of World Crisis Radio on RBNLive.com. He is a 9/11 Truth Scholar and activist; AB Princeton 1966, summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa; Fulbright Scholar at University of Turin, Italy; and MA in humanities from Skidmore College. A decades-long expert on international terrorism, his 1978 study for the Italian parliament "Chi ha ucciso Aldo Moro?" (Who Killed Aldo Moro?) broke open the ownership of the "Red Brigades" by NATO's clandestine "stay-behind" networks.
Additional speakers will be added to the program to address the issues of impeachment and ending the war in Iraq. The event is free and open to the public (voluntary donations are greatly appreciated).

The Center for Constitutional Rights’ ARTICLES OF IMPEACHMENT AGAINST GEORGE W. BUSH comes to Newburyport, MA on Sunday January 21, 2007 as part of a nationwide series to educate citizens about the case for impeachment.
The Newburyport Teach-In will feature a screening of "How to Impeach a President," a documentary short featuring the attorneys of the Center for Constitutional Rights (CCR). The documentary is based on the CCR’s book "Articles of Impeachment Against George W. Bush." A discussion will follow about impeachment, what is critically at stake for our country, and what you can do about it.

Thanks to over 100 9/11 activists who were able to meet and strategize for the New England region after the event. Look for more protests, theatrical and tactical politics in the coming year.
We wish to draw your attention to two recently published articles. The Surreal Politics of Premeditated War by R.W. Behan, which encapsulates the links between the "War on Terror" and the events of 9/11 and the article, 9/11 and the Greenberg Famila by Jerry Mazza which follows the 9/11 money trail and the involvement of the law firm of Greenberg Trauig, LLP.
Taurig Greenberg worked with the 9/11 families to receive money from the Massachusetts 9/11 fund based on their signing agreements to never sue the government for any reason and harassed the 9/11 widow Ellen Mariani for years for holding out against these terms.
